Quality Time

For The Scrap That Blog Hop look at the next post.

I made this layout for a the March 15th Challenge at Once Upon a Sketch. The sketch was simple yet beautiful designed by the ever so talented Nadia Cannizzo. The journaling criteria was to write about someone or something you miss. Starting with "I miss...."
I wrote about how much I miss spending time with my husband. I feel that with our busy lives we don't make as much time for ourselves alone... I'm sure many of you will agree or be in a similar situation with your partner.

Here are the details. The journaling is hidden in a pocket underneath the picture. I used the BoBunny Weekend Market papers along with many goodies and embellishments like keys, burlap, string, twine and flowers.

Soar

For my giveaway press here

Here is another grungy layout I made for a challenge at White with 1. The challenge was to  use white with Kraft paper and layers.

I used some Crafter's Workshop templates for the white bricks and used lots of embellishments to add layers. I even sewed in the corners but you can't really tell.

Live, Love, Laugh

I made this layout very grungy with a sketch from Creative Scrappers. I haven't had much time to scrap in the past few days because my daughter has been running a high fever since Friday night. It is so hard to see your child not feeling well, I'm sure many of you will sympathise. You feel worried, scared and anxious because you want it to pass. We got her checked at the doctor's office and it looks like its just a virus but it still sucks to see this energetic little girl so tired and limp. Please pray she gets better very soon.

Here is the layout I managed to put the finishing touches on because it was already half way done!!
I actually made my own gears by applying gesso over a gear mask and after it dried I sprayed it with butterscotch Adirondack ink.

Materials Used
Simple stories paper, gear mask and metal gears by Tim Holtz, Gesso, Adirondack spray butterscotch, burlap and twine
