Unforgettable Journey

For my birthday giveaway press here

Last week I designed an all boys layout for a change about my husband and my son. I did use pastel colors but I quite love how it turned out. I used some beautiful Webster's pages papers and embellishments that I got recently from their warehouse sale.  I have to tell you that it was worth every penny. The amount of stuff they sent me was unbelievable. I was truly impressed!!

I combined this layout for 2 challenges:

One is a sketch challenge at Scrap Africa which is a fantastic challenge blog, and the other one is for Webster's pages itself. The challenge was to scrap about the guys in our lives. Rules are that you have to use Webster's pages papers and you must use at least 2 other embellishments. It is quite an easy challenge. I used sparklers, lace trim, a journaling card and flowers.

The journaling says: "I hope your life is an unforgettable journey, you made my life meaningful and I will never forget it"

I also used a gorgeous hot air balloon chippie from 2 Crafty
Here is my layout:

 Materials Used:
Papers: Webster's pages
Flowers, lace, sparklers: WP
Chipboard: 2 Crafty
Title: Melody Ross
Crafter's Workshop brick template
White Texture effect by Martha Stewart
Cheese cloth

This is really pretty Keren! The colours are beautiful and the diagonal layout is my favourite way to design - never fails to look balanced and beautiful. I have noted all your fabulous little touches and it is very impressive. I apologise for my lack of presence & hope to catch up soon. E mail me about the sketches and I will respond. Problem is I don't have any addresses on my laptop and my computer is kaput. 5 viruses so won't be getting it back until next week. I do have e mail on my laptop but don't use it for storage/filing, just comes in here so really for when I am away. But if you send me one I can click on reply to answer your question :)
