Featured at the Shimmerz Blog

Its no secret that I love Shimmerz products. So what better way to end this month with a feature on their blog.
Their shimmery paints and sprays are just up my alley. I love using them on my Scrapbooking Projects and I've shown quite a few of my designs on my blog since I bought my first batch of Shimmerz products back in December.

Photobucket

Stacey the owner, is such a sweet lady and she noticed my work up on Facebook and asked if she could feature my designs on their blog. I was so happy, as I'm a big fan!!

She is so nice that she asked me to tell all my friends about a great offer. If you order Shimmerz, from the Shimmerz website, and if you mention my name when you order, You  will receive a FREE Spritz, Vibez, or Shimmeringz product for free with your order.

All you need to do is mention my name in the INSTRUCTIONS TO MERCHANT area when you order.

How simple is that!! Not only do you get to work with the most amazing products, but you will also get one for free. I don't think it can get better than that!!!!

and I just spied a sale on the Shimmerz paints!!
which are great as there's so much powdered paint in them and all you have to do is continue to add water and they last forever.

Here are some of my projects featured on the Shimmerz blog today. I created these using their products in the past few months.

I hope you come by the Shimmerz blog and leave me some love!!

have a fantastic day

Tag Set- Petaloo GD

For the C'est Magnifique Blog Hop press here

My second project  this month for my Petaloo GD is a set of tags.
One tag is pink with a picture of my daughter and one tag is blue with a picture of my son.
I really liked that this set of papers could be used for both genders.

I framed both pictures inside one of the Polaroid framed banners which I cut out from the Simple Stories papers.

This week Petaloo and Simple Stories team up to bring you inspirations and prizes all week long from April 22 until April 28th

Simple Stories

I added some Petaloo trim at the bottom of the tag to give it some frill.

IMG_0384
I tried to layer the tags with many different embellishments. Then I used pop dots to make the different layers pop up.

IMG_0385
At the top of each tag I made a little bow out of the Petaloo trim pack.

Well not bad for being my first or second time creating tags!!

hope you have a fantastic day!!

Dream Big- 2 Crafty Reveal part 1 and an announcement

This is my first reveal this month for 2 Crafty.
I used the Prima BAP as an inspiration but I flipped it to the side to create this layout.

I also got inspired by Shimmerz first challenge. I love using shimmerz products so I was really excited when I saw this challenge on their blog. I used these 3 colors on this layout and I love the combination.

I used some 2 Crafty circles to add some layers to the background paper. I covered them with blue and green Shimmerz: Sea foam, bamboo leaf and olive branch. I let the leftover ink drip onto the page.

I used the new 2 Crafty lavender shrubs to add dimension and direction to the layout. I also covered them in blue and green Shimmerz: Sea foam, bamboo leaf and olive branch.

Finally I used the Dream Big title from 2 Crafty. I inked it with turquoise and green chalk ink. I tried to blend the two colors together.

I complimented the colors with some coral hues from these beautiful Prima flowers.

Pure Bliss- Petaloo GD

I'm back again for another reveal this month at Petaloo.

For my first project I made a layout.
Here is a picture of my kids at Peggy's Cove Nova Scotia. They stood on a rock overlooking the ocean and I took this picture.

I wanted to use the blue paper to mimic the ocean. I loved combining it with the yellow hues from this Simple Stories collection

IMG_0379-1

This week Petaloo and Simple Stories team up to bring you inspirations and prizes all week long from April 22 until April 28th

Simple Stories

IMG_0374

I used lots of Petaloo flowers and some fussy cut flowers from the papers to decorate around the photo
IMG_0375
I used the wooden looking paper and curled it at ends to make it look like curled bark. I love using this technique whenever I have a wooden pattern on my papers.

IMG_0376
I really loved creating with this combo of papers and flowers!!
The turquoise combined with the yellow just looks awesome
well I hope you have a fantastic day and come win a prize on the Petaloo blog
