5 Card Background Techniques using Distress Oxide Inks and Embossing Folders

Hi Everyone,
I created a set of musically themed cards using Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks and embossing folders. I got inspired by a video from Jennifer McGuire where she used Distress inks with embossing folders and I knew I needed to try this technique with the Distress Oxide Inks.
I took it one step further and experimented with 5 different techniques to create different water-color background.

Here is the video tutorial below:

3 Techniques Same card- with Altenew Painted Rose Stamp and Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks

Hi Everyone,
I created 3 cards using the same products but a different technique on each one.
I used Altenew Painted Rose layered stamp and Tim Holtz Distress Oxides.
I have a video tutorial below that demonstrates all 3 techniques:

Here is the video below

Here are the close-ups of each card.
You can see that although I used the same stamp and colors, they came out completely different from each other.

Gratitude Journal for Maja Design

Hi Everyone, Its Keren here for the Maja Design blog with a new project.
I created another gratitude journal using the Vintage Summer basics collection.

I covered a plain notebook with the 1922 paper from the collection and even cut a small border for the edge

for the doily under the flowers I used the 1904 paper as it was pretty neutral. Then I embellished with some Prima Marketing flowers and vines.

Mixed Media ATCs-- with Opal Magic Wax and Amazing Castin Resin

Hi Everyone,
I have here today a new set of ATC's with of course a video tutorial.
the surface for the background was created with Amazing Casting Resin which is an idea inspired by Cat Kerr and Heather Thompson. I've linked their videos below if you want to watch them.

However, the main focus on my video is the amazing Prima Finnabair Art Alchemy Opal Magic Waxes which I used to color the background.
Watch my video as I explain how to use them and how they react with different mediums.
All the products are linked below in this post and in the video's description area.

Here is the video on how I created these ATC's

Here is a couple of other videos from 2 of my friends who inspired me to use the Amazing Casting Resin.  Cat Kerr had this original idea and I just thought it was amazing so I had to try it.

Here are some close-ups of the ATC's
